Utah
I visited the great state of Utah a couple of week ago and had one of my most enjoyable rides ever. Some friends and I took a trip through the Uintah National Forest. This road was everything a motorcyclist could ever ask for.
There was no gravel. Only two intersecting roads in a 25 mile stretch. Curves of every type - from long and sweeping to hairpin. Long straightaways. Very few automobiles. And best of all little to no police patrols.
Sunday is the Mormon Sabbath and the majority of businesses are closed and most people are indoors. I was told you can ride this road on a Sunday and the odds of not encountering a car are favorable. On my Saturday ride I probably only came across 30 or so cars in 50 miles. So needless to say on Sundays this road turns into sportbike track day. My only disappointment is that I was on my buddies docile BMW K1200s instead of getting buck wild on my GSX-R 1000.
If you like the Dragons Tail at Deals Gap you would love with this one.
