MotoGP
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host a MotoGP race this year for the first time in almost 100 years. I have never witnessed a MotoGP race in person because most of the races are held in Europe and Asia with the only U.S. race being held in California at the famed Leguna Seca.
This year they are bringing a race to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway September 12 - 14. I had always made the pilgrimage to Mid-Ohio for the AMA Superbike race weekend until 2007 when my priorities were out of order and I missed it for the first time in 5 years. However this year I get to make up for it by attending both race weekends and all they have to offer. The atmosphere is always great at Mid-Ohio and I’m sure it will be just as good in Indy.
