do you believe in God?
The majority of Americans believe in God. Do you?
A new book offers reasons to believe. 50 Reasons People Give for Believing in God (Prometheus Books) by Guy P. Harrison straddles the gap between doubters and believers. There’s humor here. I like that.
Here are some of the reasons cited in the book for believing in God:
Better safe than sorry.
I want eternal life.
I don’t want to go to hell.
My god answers prayers.
Anything is better than being an atheist.
Our world is too beautiful to be an accident.
Do you believe in God? Why?

Because I think the three dimensional world is not all there is; the fact that there is also a two dimensional world (i.e., pictures) suggests otherwise.By mwm

Yes. Belief in God is a personal issue. The representation of God may be different based upon what an individual belief of God is. Religion is the man made set of rules and guidlines used to worship God. Usually a personal view of God is not the same as what religion calls God. Religion is flawed and imperfect.
