Dylan film to show at the Neon

The Neon will be showing the new film about the life of Bob Dylan beginning Friday.

The movie, entitled I’m Not There, stars Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Marcus Carl Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, and Ben Whishaw all as the legendary Bob Dylan.

The website of this Spirit award winning film (www.imnotthere-movie.com) describes the motion picture by stating that “all six actors portray Dylan as a series of shifting persona from the public to the private and the fantastical.”

I am especially interested in seeing Cate Blanchett play the frizzy haired rock star.

I hit YouTube and saw a scene featuring Blanchett as Dylan wearing shades and smoking a cigarette looking very rock n’ roll. Look it up and see what you think.
