Waiting on Terrelle Pryor
One of our sports writers, Kyle Nagel, is in the gym at Jeannette (Pa.) High School, waiting for the arrival of ballyhooed quarterback Terrelle Pryor. The top football prospect in the nation is supposed to address the media at about noon from a makeshift stage.
Word is Pryor won’t be signing a letter of intent today. That’s going to make for a grumpy group of media types, who made the trip to the Pittsburgh area. Still, should be an interesting news conference.
Pryor’s delay-of-game move also could make for a grumpy Ohio State coaching staff. OSU had two top recruits on its radar today: Pryor and offensive lineman Josh Jenkins, who has committed to West Virginia.
Just a hunch, but I think the longer this Pryor drama plays out, the better chance Penn State has of keeping him in the Keystone State.
