Big cities have fiscal problems too

I stumble across this story on CNN last night about big city mayors testifying before congress about infrastructure problems and how they don’t have the money to fix it locally.

Granted these are big cities, they quote New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, but the problems are at least similar to the ones Hamilton is experiencing now.

I’ve spent the last month writing about Hamilton’s fiscal problems and seemed to give credit to council’s claim that this is a nationwide problem. Everyone talks about roads in Hamilton and council has no money to fix that.

Neither do the biggest ones, according to this.
