More stores displaying Halloween items
Quick update to alert you that Walgreens stores (at least the Fairborn location on Dayton-Yellow Springs Road) have Halloween decorations and goodies out for sale. I stopped in yesterday and found a great deal on spooky tealight candle holders. At $1.99 they’re a bargain compared to the $5+ I’ve seen for similar decor elsewhere.
Target.com now has many Halloween items listed. I’ll be checking out the actual store this week to see if spookiness has overtaken the Back To School areas.
Yankee Candle has released a new Halloween collection of scents and candle holders.
The Haunted House Tealight Holder (at right) is particularly neat and not extremely over-priced at $39.99. It’s really pretty large and holds 5 candles.
Just a reminder to be on the safe side with crispy fall leaves and costumes running amok, why not opt for “flickering” flame-free tealight and votive candles. They may be fake but no one will get hurt. You can even find these at the dollar stores.
