Mason city officials are talking about talking to Butler County officials about a joint skate park venture.
The city shelved plans for its own park last year, because of cost overruns and the inability to strike a deal with Deerfield Twp. Township officials said they should have been part of the discussion, not just cost sharing.
Officials are thinking a skate park might be a nice addition to the 435-acre Voice of America Park in West Chester Twp.
