Middletown receives Tree City USA recognition

The city of Middletown will be designated as a Tree City USA for the first time, according to city officials.

The city will be recognized during a ceremony today at the Oakwood Community Center for those communities in southwest Ohio.

The effort to become a Tree City was spearheaded by the Middletown Tree Commission as well as former Interim City Manager Steve Husemann and Middletown City Council.
