Board will vote on new Highview principal

The Middletown Board of Education will vote Monday night to hire a new principal for Highview Elementary.

The board will vote to hire Joy Stokes, currently principal at Southeast Elementary in Marion, Ind.

Long-time Middletown educator and current Highview principal Jeff Banks will be an assistant principal at an Edgewood elementary school next year.

The board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the district’s central offices at 1515 Girard Ave.
