Buy a Blizzard on Aug. 7, help Dayton Children’s

If you buy a Blizzard at Dairy Queen on Thursday, Aug. 7, you will also be helping a good cause.

On Thursday, August 7, Dairy Queen will host the third annual “Miracle Treat Day” to benefit The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton and other Children’s Miracle Network hospitals throughout the country.

Participating Dairy Queens throughout the Miami Valley will donate the proceeds from every Blizzard sold to Dayton Children’s.

Since 1984, area Dairy Queen restaurants have supported the Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.

Last year on Miracle Treat Day, participating Dairy Queens throughout the United States and Canada raised more than $4 million and more than $35,000 was raised for Dayton Children’s, according to a Dayton Children’s spokesperson.
