The fatalism of Ohioans
Record heat in January.
The reaction was near universal.
“Boy are we gonna pay for this.”
I’m not quite sure what to make of that. Is there a streak of fatalism that runs through the veins of Ohioans? Or is this simply a precursor of coming disappointment tonight when the Buckeyes face the Bayou Bengals of LSU?
When a sudden blizzard pops up in early April, we will know the reason.
To an Ohioan, record heat in January is no blessing.
But we’ll enjoy it while we can.
