McCain’s new controversial Web ad about Obama makes religious comparisons
John McCain on Friday defended his new ad that seems to make a comparison to Barack Obama and a “religious figure.”
The ad, which is only running on the Internet, refers to the presumptive Democratic nominee as “The One.” The ad features a lot of religious themes and even has The Ten Commandments’ Charlton Heston as Moses parting the Red Sea.” According to the Associated Press, on Friday McCain said he doesn’t think the ad is negative.
“We think it’s got a lot of humor in it, we’re having fun and enjoying it … we’ll continue to fight and scrap all the way to November 4,” McCain said.
Tell us what you think of the new McCain ad.

A reporter for CNN claimed on the Bill Maher show that Barack Obama had claimed he could part the red sea and cited this ad as proof. John McCain’s campaign has reached a new low and an insult to the bid for the Presidency of the United States.By Deanna R. Baumgardner

What makes a good leader? Good judgement, intelligence, and the ability to find win-win moments for the good of all Americans regardless of party. Barack’s Judgement-Iraq war. Barack’s Intelligence-understands complex economic, energy and foreign policies and articulates his solutions in a way that treats voters as adults! Barack seeks win-win moments—he’s been aggressively bi-partisan in the US Senate, focusing on the needs of the average worker because he is not beholden to special interest and big money contributors and he’s not too old to remember his own lower middle class struggles.By mwm

The ad compares Obama to the great leader Moses. So, McCain does see Obama as a great leader. Perhaps he will vote for Obama.By TRS

And I thought libs were good at picking up on parody. Folks initially either liked, loved or swoned over Senator Obama because of charisma and his ability to give a good speech, almost to the point of worship. People were fainting and he became a rock star like personality. All the ad is saying is look deeper, look at his policies. If you are a socialist, you’ll like them. If not (and most folks aren’t) you won’t.By mwm

The befuddled old man, McCain, uses his own variant on “religion” as a tool in politics. After all, McCain has chosen to live his life without the 7th, 8th and 10th commandments. And the 6th, since he supports wars based upon lies.By navy vet
