What’s your favorite summer festival?

Folks in Miami County know that it’s Troy Strawberry Festival weekend, which in the Miami Valley is sorta the official kickoff event to summertime festival season. It’s one of the biggest around, and always a fruity good time.

Soooooo, what’s the festival you most look forward to each summer? Strawberry? Appalachian? The Celtic Festival? The Air Show? The county fairs? At our house, we always look forward to the Cityfolk Festival downtown — and this year’s looks like an especially zesty lineup.

Or do you like fall’s festivals better? I admit I’m more a fall-festival guy, but hey — summer’s here, and there are crowds to jostle amongst and good food to eat, so let’s go.

Tell us what you like, and why. Maybe we’ll spot you there.

St. Helen Church festival has been my favorite for years. Very family friendly, and lots for all ages to do.
