East falls to Moeller

Lakota East lost a 9-6 decision to Moeller in a Division I regional final at the University of Cincinnati.

The Crusaders scored a run in the seventh to tie the game, then pushed across three runs in the eighth to secure the win.

East finishes 18-12. Moeller (25-6) advances to the state semifinals Thursday at Cooper Stadium in Columbus.
