Park season in West Chester Twp.

With the slow end of winter and onset of spring, things are starting to happen at West Chester Twp. parks. If you were anywhere near Voice of America Park last weekend, you probably noticed the low-flying cloud of color that was KiteFest. The weekend before that, the township opened Muhlhauser Barn at Beckett Park, and one of the newest, tallest structures in the Union Centre area is the clock tower under construction at The Square at Union Centre on West Chester Road.

There will be more park news and events this summer, as the Square opens and events kick off at the other parks in the township.

Do you plan to attend any of those events? What do you think of the changes to our parks? These facilities are for public enjoyment, after all, and I’m curious to know what the public thinks of them. Have thoughts? Post a comment.
