Local Girl Scouts spearhead mother-daughter event

I got an email about a mother-daughter event downtown this weekend that was spearheaded by a group of township Girl Scouts. Julia Hall, Tara Keesling, Laura MacMorland, Paige MacMorland, and Kate Ruffner organized the Growing Together, Connecting for Life program, scheduled to take place May 3 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. The event is co-sponsored by YWCA of Greater Cincinnati and the National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation, and will include info booths for both national women’s organizations and local clubs, organizations and other items of interest to mothers and daughters. I’ll have more info about the event in a web story tomorrow at pulsejournal.com, but until then, you can go to speakingofwomenshealth.com for more information and event registration.

Is anyone out there planning on going? With Mother’s Day right around the corner, any moms/daughters out there doing anything interesting?
