Township history: what do you know?

West Chester Twp. is one of the fastest growing communities in the region. Many of the developments, from the Streets of West Chester to VOA Shopping Center, were not here when I moved to the area seven years ago.

But the township has a history going back to the late 1700’s.

So what do you know about township history? Is the area’s past relevant to you? Do you think it’s important to hang on to local history as the area develops and evolves?
