Trustee’s suggestion - get out on foot
I got this email from township trustee Lee Wong:
“Can you consider doing a blog on walking. I counted over 35 runners at Mojo Running store last Saturday. I like to lead a group to walk a few miles around UCB area. Have them meet me at the Mojo Running store at 8 am, this Saturday, 6/7 for a no frill walk.
Exercise is just a matter of one foot over the other. Lets take the 1st baby step…”
There you go: a chance to get some exercise and snag the ear of local government all at once.
If you go, report back here how it goes.

The rain put a damper on fair weathered runners. Only the hard core groups (all females!) came out. I ran/walked 3.8 miles with Heather and Kathy from Liberty - both are good Americans. I’ll be back again every Saturday and run till my face heat the ground. After run/walk, I stopped by the Farmer’s market browsing around with Bob Ewing.
