Township planning to boost efficiency
I’m working on a story this week about the township’s plan to boost its conservation and efficient use of natural resources. Many of the steps the township is planning are less technological than behavioral, such as planning non-emergency trips to allow car pooling or combining trips. Suggestions also include limiting vehicle idling and eventually incorporating more efficient vehicles into the township fleet.
What do you think the township could do to use energy more efficiently? The resources the township is trying to conserve are purchased with your tax money, after all. Share your thoughts here; maybe you’ll come up with a new idea that will save us all a few dollars.
