Here’s a twist: a SCOTCH dinner
I’m a bit tardy in pointing this one out, but I thought it was unusual enough to spotlight: a Scotch dinner, Tuesday night. Hope they’re still taking reservations. Here’s the deal:
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar at The Greene in Beavercreek will host a Johnny Walker Scotch dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. The guest will be Robert Sickler, master of whisky for Johnnie Walker and the Classic Malts of Scotland. The menu includes Sweet Chili Calamari, Seared Ahi Tuna on a vegetable salad with spicy mustard sauce, Peppercorn Filet with blue cheese butter sauce and Fleming’s potatoes, Dark Chocolate Ganache with a whisky caramel sauce, and Chef’s Charcuturie Plate. Each course will be served with a different Johnnie Walker Scotch. The cost is $85, not including tax and tip, and reservations are required. For more information or to make reservations, call (937) 320-9548.
