Carrie Meyer and Braden Hasselbeck

Chris and Chuck Meyer of Fairfield are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie V. Meyer, to Braden T. Hasselbeck, son of Debbie and Tom Hasselbeck of Fairfield.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Fairfield High School and is a student at Miami University. She is employed in physical education with Mercy Hospital.

Her fiance is a graduate of Fairfield High School and Miami University. He is employed in mass communications with The Fischer Group.

The couple have set an October 24 wedding date.

Kristin Shull and Mark Magner

Diane and David Shull of Hamilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Patricia Shull, to Mark Edward John Magner, son of Beth and Mark Magner of Mason.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Badin High School and Miami University. She is a student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Her fiance is a graduate of Moeller High School and Miami University. He is also a student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

The couple have set an October 18 wedding date.

Ashley Cavender and Joseph Earp

Kimberly Cavender of Fairfield and Randy Clayton of Fultonham are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Cavender, to Joseph Dexter Earp, son of Mary Covert and David Earp, both of Huntsville, Ala.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Fairfield High School.

Her fiance is a graduate of Sparkman High School and is a sergeant and infantry team leader serving in the United States Army.

The couple have set a May 16 wedding date.

Connor Christian Yorke

Andrea and Erik Yorke of Fairfield are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Connor Christian Yorke, on April 7 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 3.8 ounces and was 23 inches long.

Connor was welcomed by proud grandparents Barbara and James Might and Margaret and William Yorke.
