Motorcyclist in crash hospitalized

Staff Report

Thursday, August 28, 2008

CLEARCREEK TWP. – An accident involving a minivan and motorcycle that occurred just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in the 2500 block of Ohio 73 between Ohio 48 and Township Line sent a man, toddler and infant to Dayton hospitals.

A medical helicopter transported the motorcycle's driver to Miami Valley Hospital for serious injuries sustained in the crash, according to Sgt. Steven Reynolds of the Clearcreek Twp. Police Department. Reynolds said the unidentified man was not wearing a helmet.

A newborn infant and a toddler were transported by Clearcreek Twp. life squad to The Children's Medical Center of Dayton as a precaution because of the glass that shattered into the minivan, Reynolds said.
