Roundball keynote speaker: Jay Bilas

Jay Bilas, a college basketball analyst for ESPN and CBS, is the Roundball keynote speaker for the Pigskin-Roundball Spectacular.

A four-year starter for Mike Krzyzewski at Duke, Bilas joined ESPN in 1995 as a studio and game analyst. He is a regular contributor to ESPN, ESPNEWS, ESPN Radio, ESPN.com and Mobile ESPN. In 2007, he was nominated for an Emmy for outstanding performance by a studio analyst.

Bilas joined CBS in 2003 as a game analyst for the network's coverage of the NCAA tournament.

A forward/center at Duke, Blias finished his career with 1,062 points and 692 rebounds. Bilas played in the 1986 national championship game. That season, the Blue Devils won 37 games.

After graduating from Duke, Bilas was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and played for two years as a professional in Europe.

Bilas returned to Duke in 1990, serving as an assistant coach under Krzyzewski for three seasons. During his tenure as an assistant, the Blue Devils advanced to three Final Fours and won a pair of national championships (1991 and 1992).

Bilas, a 1992 graduate of Duke Law School, has been an attorney at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, in Charlotte, N.C., since 1992.

Bilas is a partner in Athletes United for Youth, a charitable foundation that benefits youth education in Charlotte.
