OXFORD — Miami senior Kenny Hayes was named on Monday, Dec. 1, as the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week.
Hayes averaged 19.5 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game last week for hte RedHawks, who beat Wright State and lost to Xavier.
Hayes scored 20 points, had five rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot in the 55-37 win over the Raiders. In a 60-53 loss to Xavier, he scored 19 points, had five rebounds, two assists and one steal.
