The Matt Light free football camp will carry on even without Matt Light.
The New England Patriots lineman and Greenville native can't be at the June 16-18 event due to scheduling issues.

"I tried to schedule it so he could be there," camp director Larry Masters said. "Normally the Patriots have their minicamp this week. He had his (plane) tickets and (Patriots coach Bill) Belichick moved it to the 16th. I have to deal with (scheduling) every year."
The free camp, in its 15th year, is for football players ages 8 to 14. It will run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily in Greenville North Park.
Among the area high school coaches involved this year are Jason Schondelmyer, Max Current and Thomas Powers.
The camp usually draws more than 100 players and features T-shirts, door prizes and awards.
