Boys soccer tournament draw unveiled

The Division I boys soccer tournament draw was unveiled Sunday, Oct. 5, with 28 Greater Cincinnati teams given seeds.
The tournament kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 14, with the higher seed hosting first-round games. The top four seeds — Milford, Mason, Sycamore and Fairfield — were rewarded byes.
Here's a look at where the local teams were seeded:
• Mason (9-1-2) is the No. 2 seed and will play the winner of No. 21 Hamilton (3-8-3)/No. 24 Amelia (2-12) on Oct. 18.
• Fairfield (8-3-4) is the No. 4 seed and will play the winner of No. 5 Walnut Hills (11-1-2)/No. 19 Oak Hills (4-7-3) on Oct. 18.
• Kings (6-4-3) is the No. 16 seed and will host No. 24 Amelia (2-12) on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The winner gets No. 3 seed Sycamore (10-1-3) on Oct. 18.
• In the Division II, Dayton 1 sectional, Little Miami (6-6-2) is the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 Franklin (4-10-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The winner will play top-seeded Dayton Carroll (11-1-2) on Oct. 18.
